In celebration of the 50th anniversary of JAWS, our team dove deep to create a sculpture that captures the suspense and power of cinema’s most famous shark – crafting a jaw-dropping sculpture that’s equal parts terrifying and tasty. Using tuna cans to form the sleek, glistening body of cinema’s most infamous Great White, we paid homage to the film’s iconic predator. Surrounding our canned carnivore, layers of water build the ocean’s depth and movement, while stacks of vegetables, chili, and beans add flavor and flair to the underwater poster scene.
This design reminds us that while JAWS made audiences afraid to go in the water, hunger is the real monster lurking beneath the surface—and it’s one we can defeat. After the competition, every can —protein-packed tuna, hearty chili, and nutritious vegetables—will be donated to local food banks, helping feed families across Long Island.
From Hollywood legend to hunger relief, our JAWS tribute proves that even the scariest bite can help fight hunger!
